There are also some lines that connect Portugal and France. Bus service is also available and is often less expensive than train or air travel but not quite as comfortable. Car rentals are available, but it is important to note that roads identified with an “A” for autopistas have tolls. In addition, most hotels will charge a fee to park a vehicle.
